Ingredients
- Soft Taco Shells
- Chicken Fajita Strips
- 1/2 cup sliced green peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Salsa
- Sour Cream
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 370F
- Spray pan lightly with vegetable oil
- Place 1 soft taco shell in pan and sprinkle with cheese
- Lay out fajita chicken strips so they are in a single layer
- Put onions and green peppers on top of the chicken
- Add more shredded cheese
- Place another soft taco shell on top and spray lightly with vegetable oil. Secure the tacos together with a wooden tooth pick to prevent the top one flying around
- Cook for 4 minutes
- Flip over carefully and cook for a further 4 minutes
- Extend time if it is not as crispy as you like
- Serve with Salsa and sour cream

I tried this recipe. I secured top tortilla with toothpicks, but the top tortilla still was flying around. I also found it hard to turn over. All the filling came out. I might try using 1 tortilla and just folding it over, covering the filling. I really love my air fryer and look forward to trying new recipe.

That’s a great idea! I just got my air fryer and I’m hoping to make a number of healthier options. I want to make the chicken quesadillas, but I wondered about the ease of turning them over.
