Deliciously savory, tender barbecue ribs that are ready to enjoy in minutes! The air fryer seals in juices while caramelizing the outside, giving my barbecue ribs Blue Ribbon results every time! I love Texas-style barbecue but I don’t love the clean-up, especially when company’s coming.
Rinse, pat dry, and trim off any excess fat from the two pounds of country-style pork ribs.
Season the pork ribs with seasoning
Spray or coat the bottom of the air fryer basket with oil, then place the seasoned ribs into the air fryer.
Arrange the ribs in a single layer with space between the ribs for even cooking.
Cook the ribs for 10 minutes, then turn them and continue cooking for an additional 10 minutes.
Brush the air fryer ribs liberally with your favorite barbecue sauce & return them to the air fryer.
Increase the temperature to 400°F and cook the ribs for another 10 minutes or until caramelized to your desired level (an internal temp of 145°F is required)
Remove from your air fryer, repeat as necessary, and serve with additional sauce on the side if desired.
Notes
Country style ribs aren't really ribs. They're cut from the rib end of the loin meat near the shoulder or the front of the baby backs. They have a lot more meat compared to typical ribs. Some would say they are closer to pork chops than ribs.
