A delicious dessert that reminds me of a cold winter’s Sunday in the UK. Great on it’s own or served with custard, cream or ice cream. Let us know your thoughts.
Ingredients
- 250 grams fresh apples (your choice)
- 75 grams sugar
- 100 grams fresh blackberries
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 100 grams flour
- 50 grams cubed cold butter
- salt
Instructions
- Preheat the Airfryer to 400°F.
- Cut the your apples of choice into cubes and mix them in a bowl with the lemon juice and 25g of sugar, add in washed blackberries
- Mix the flour with a pinch of salt, the remainder of the sugar, the butter, and 1 tablespoon of cold water in a bowl. Mix it until it is more or less consistent and then use your fingers to finish it off into a crumbly mixture
- Grease a cake tin and spread the fruit mix over the tin
- Distribute the crumbly mixture evenly over the fruit and press the top layer lightly
- Put the cake tin into the airfryer. Cook for 20 minutes until golden brown
- Serve the crumble hot or cold. Enjoy
