These are our take on buffalo style chicken wings. Whilst not following a totally traditional recipe, we enjoy the sweetness and hotness of the sauce, and of course the ease of making such a dish in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 kilogram Chicken Wings
- 1/2 cup Jimmy's Steak Sauce (South African)
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- Salt
- 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 175C
- In a bowl mix together the Jimmy's sauce, butter, Worstershire, Tabasco and cayenne pepper, and add a decent pinch of salt. You may need to whisk to get a good mix
- Put the chicken wings evenly in the air fryer basket
- Cook for 25 minutes, shake the basket half way through
- Now up the temperature for 5 further minutes, to 200C
- Empty wings into large mixing bowl. Add the sauce mix and toss together
- Serve and enjoy
