Air Fryer Indian Chicken Thighs

Spice up and add some color to your chicken thighs with this Indian inspired dish. It’s best to try and let the chicken marinate for a few hours to soak up the flavour.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken thighs
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika for color and a slightly smoky taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • 2 teaspoons ginger minced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • Juice of 1 lemon for sprinkling before serving

Instructions

  1. Mix together all ingredients except the lemon juice and let the chicken marinate for at least an hour, but overnight would be ideal
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F
  3. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, and set the timer for 20 minutes, turn the pieces every 5 minutes. Ensure chicken is cooked through
  4. Dish up and squeeze the lemon over all the chicken
