Ingredients
- 4 medium red peppers, stems and seeds removed - cooked in boiling salted water for 3 minutes
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 16 ounces lean ground beef
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer as to 390°F
- Sauté the onion and garlic in the olive oil in a small nonstick pan until golden and remove to cool
- Mix the beef, cooked vegetables, half a cup tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce,half the shredded cheese, and season with salt and pepper, in a bowl
- Divide and stuff the peppers - top with remaining tomato sauce and cheese
- Place in the air fryer basket. Add back in the pepper tops if you want to add them to the presentation
- Set the timer to 15 -20 minutes, and cook
