The classic Italian pizza done in a fresh modern way. You’ll need a pizza pan or similar, something like available in this accessories kit. Here with prepared a basic Margarita so you can add your favorite toppings.
Ingredients
- 100 grams flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1/2 ½ tablespoon olive oil
- 50 milliliters tomato sauce
- 7/24 cup mozzarella, sliced thinly
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Small pizza pan, 15 cm diameter, buttered
Instructions
- To make the dough, mix the flour, the yeast, a pinch of salt, olive oil and approximately 70ml of water, mix into a dough ball
- Knead the dough ball until it becomes flexible and elastic
- Preheat your air fryer to 390F.
- On a floured work surface, roll out the dough into an 18cm circle
- Place the dough circle, pizza base, in the baking pan
- Fold the excess edges inward to form the pizza crust
- Spread the tomato sauce over the dough and place the mozzarella slices over the top
- Sprinkle the oregano, basil and pepper over the mozzarella
- Place the baking pan in the fryer basket, set timer for 12 minutes and cook until golden
