Delicious mushrooms snacks without the oil.
Ingredients
- 250 grams Button mushrooms
- flour
- 1 egg
- Breadcrumbs
- 80 grams grated Parmigiana Reggiano cheese
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 360F
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmigiana cheese and set aside
- In another bowl, beat the egg and also aside
- In a third bowl, put half a cup or so of flour
- Wash the mushrooms and pat dry with kitchen paper
- For each mushroom follow the next 3 steps
- Roll the mushroom in the flour
- Next, dip the mushroom in the egg
- Now dip the mushroom in the breadcrumbs/cheese mix, ensure a good but even coating
- Place all the dipped mushrooms into the air fryer basket and at 360F for 7 minutes, shake the basket halfway through

Can u not just roll in flour mixture & egg then use airfryer why do u do flour then egg mix that’s backwards my recipe. Oh I’m new to airfryer so please respond ty
The breadcrumbs won’t stick to flour, the third step of coating the mushroom.
