Eat Healthier with an Air Fryer

Everyone wants to live a healthier life and one way that you can accomplish this is through eating better. There are a lot of foods that you cannot give up because you love them so much, but what can you do about that? These days there are plenty of options out there that can help you eat healthier while still enjoying food that you enjoy without having to have all that oil when cooking the foods. For you, the air fryer is the answer to your questions. You may not be familiar with an air fryer but this is a must for any kitchen.

When using an air fryer, you only need to use a small amount of oil. What this means for you is that you can get that tasty fried food you love with less calories. The air fryer works by circulating hot air around the food in the air fryer basket. This makes the food crispy as if it were being deep fried by circulating hot hair around the food at a really high speed.  This produces a thin layer of crispiness on the food as a result of the Maillard effect. The air fryer fries a variety of different foods like french fries, fish, chicken, and potato chips.

There are a lot of brands of air fryers that promise to use 80% less oil that more traditional home deep fryers. Since you are using a lot less oil (if you even choose to use oil), these are really the healthiest option to get that taste that you love from fried foods without getting all those extra calories. By using an air fryer, you are thinking of your health. When you use a regular deep fryer, you are increasing your chance of suffering from diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer and will cause you to be more likely to suffer from obesity.

These air fryers are not just superior in the area of creating healthier food but some think that the food is even tastier. There have been studies on the health benefits and the taste benefits of air fryers. For instance, a recent study has shown that french fries that were cooked in an air fryer are actually preferred by taste testers than french fries cooked in oils by a traditional air fryer. They like the taste, crispiness, and other things that people look for in their french fries.

If you want to eat healthier but you cannot give up certain foods, an air fryer can help you feel as though you are indulging in something that is bad for you with the food having half the calories. The air fryer proves to users that healthy food does not taste terrible. In addition to fried foods, you can cook an assorted variety of different food items, making this not only an appliance for healthier food but it is also a versatile small appliance that you need to have in your home.
